Strike won\'t load

Just got strike and was soo excited to bash away, but...I can't... I have installed Strike (twice now) with no errors however when I try to launch PTLE 7.0, the launch fails while trying to load the strike plug-in. I uninstalled the plug-in and PT launches as usual. Tried the latest update too but no dice. Otherwise 7.0 has been very stable for me with 002R on Win XP SP2. Does anyone have any ideas of what I might do to fix this? I tried installing content on both a separate drive and the program drive but it doesn't even get to accessing the content part. Hopefully I am just doing something stupid that can be put right by some kind soul who can set me straight. Thanks for any possible help. -syo

Have you tried trashing preferences yet? If not, start there...

Hello and thanks. I just trashed the preferences file but same thing. PTLE crashes while loading strike plug-in. I recently upgraded from MBox to 002 which I love and has been running great. Loaded other plugs (Amplitube, BFD Lite etc.) no problems. Might it help to install 7.3? (which I have). I hesitate because things are running fine now. But really want to get into strike. So close. I watch that bar praying it will continue but... Thanks again, syo

One more thing... Went through the support tech pages which mentioned trashing the digidesign database folders (trash empty and restart) which I did. This didn't work either.

If you look at the Strike plug-in in your plug-ins folder, does it have the proper icon? Have you tried launching Pro Tools from a different administrator account yet?
