Hi All, Im an infrequent visitor to these parts but would very much appreciate a word from the wise. Ive been running Protools LE 7 on PC for about six months (I have a Digi 002 Rack and an MBOX 2). Im thinking I might transfer to MAC and am looking for some general advice to see if I am opening myself up to a world of hassle. My reason for switching is to have a dedicated and stable machine to run sessions on....I was thinking of buying a new PC but Ive heard a MAC would be the way to go. My first question is obvious - Will I be able to load my sessions that were created on PC on the MAC ( I have em all on an external hard dirve) Plug ins - will I have to buy all my plug ins etc again? Lastly - would a Mac Book be powerful enough to run an average 32 track session? Sorry if these are petty queries , Im comfortable with most aspects of Pro Tools and working with PC's but have zero experience with Macs, as I said the reknowned stability of the MAC is really what Im after but am wondering how much difficulty there is in moving over. Any help or advice is very much appreciated. Thanks Trev
