Hi All, I worked this out a while back, and thought to share it as most people seem not to know about it and is not written anywhere. I find it really useful. ctrl+alt+command+eject= Shutdown* ctrl+command+eject= Restart alt+command+eject=Sleep *This doesn't give you anytime, so switch the speakers off if you are not using a desk. Or.. RUN!! There is a shortcut for getting the shutdown window with the extra time like it normally does from the apple menu but i forgot it. Anyone knows it? Hope you enjoy it

Just don't use that last one on an HD equipped computer. Sleep mode is a No-No.

I prefer CTRL+Eject and then select what I want to do. Timothy

Hi Tone, it's actually "ctrl+Eject" ( as Tim said) ..which is still not the one i meant.... Also, Frank, i did not know that that was like a force shut down as it seems that it closes all the open Apps, (which i usually do before) and obviously you need to save before, although it will ask you to save before shutting down if you haven't done it.(???). Or do you actually mean save system settings Etc.? Anyway, I will try to avoid it if it is bad for the system. Thanks for the tip!
