Well I 've already visited , and I 've read it quite thoroughly, but the results I get with the Smooth Deinterlace filter is not what I expected. The video pixelates several times, and the overall quality is significantly degraded. Maybe the settings should be different that the default? And what about the Avisynth version of the filter? Has anybody used it? Are there any other ways to convert my interlaced video to progressive? However, I guess my best choice should be to keep my footage interlaced and make an interlaced DVD, but the progressive thing seams all too appealing to me... :-)
