It's just a preference file - just delete that file, then make sure you re-set any personal preferences next time you launch PT. Then, if you've installed any of the norton disk utilities, immediately uninstall them - they're no good and will mess up your system something fierce. The anti-virus is not as evil, but disable any auto-scanning or running-in-the background stuff. BTW, there are almost zero viruses for the mac, so it's really not necessary to have an anti-virus program anyway. I would only install and run it if you really think you've been infected by something. In my 5 years of supporting, upgrading and repairing macs (including working at an apple store), I've only seen one person get a virus, and it was only a MS Word macro-virus that didn't really do any harm at all, and that person got it because they broke the #1 rule and opened an email attachment from someone they didn't know. Your mac is safe from viruses, believe me.
