More options is a good thing I suppose, so extra mouse modifiers would be nice. I actually hold a key down to place the edit cursor where the mouse is, thus moving the mouse and having the picture follow. I also use a ShuttlePro2 for that if I want to stay on the frame grid with a more familiar device, but the mouse works well if not overused. Just in case, it may be just an option you hadn't found yet. Happened to me lots of times. PreferencesVideo/REX/Misc (just above Plug-ins) "When moving audio items, seek video frame to: " dropdown menu I recommend using "Snap offset of audio item", since that is the start of the item by default. You can change that snap offset by either dragging the bottom left of the item to the right, or using actions. Hope this helps :) .

Wait what? It's using the item start/offset position for the video frame here. Must be some option already somewhere then? EDIT: yeah it's a preference. Prefs -> Media -> Video/REX/Misc -> When moving audio items, seek video frame to: "Snap offset of audio item" (works the same as "Start of audio item" but lets you use snap offsets if you need them) EDIT2: Duh airon just explained all this in the above post.. :)

Argh... every time I think I've spotted a chink in the reaper armour I stand corrected. My Mouse modifier idea would be pretty cool, but I can live with how it is. Thanks to you all!
